Culpeper
Cop Sentencing Delayed
A Culpeper police officer convicted of manslaughter will
have to wait to be sentenced. A judge postponed sentencing until May 2nd after
the defense team for Daniel Harmon-Wright requested a new trial. The judge said
the three criminal counts against their client are so similar they amount to
double jeopardy. Earlier this year, a jury found Harmon-Wright guilty in the
shooting death of 54-year-old Patricia Cook outside the Epiphany Catholic
School annex in February of last year.
