Lakeland cop named Jerry Monroe has been charged with battery after authorities
say he got into a road rage fight while off-duty. The incident was caught on
video. Monroe was driving with his son when another driver cut him off. The
driver, Andy Jones, then pulled into a parking lot, Monroe pushed him and body
slammed Jones onto the concrete in the video. Then, according to witnesses and
the police report, he repeatedly punched Jones while he was on the ground.
