The Supreme Judicial Court will not intervene in a long-running legal dispute

The Supreme Judicial Court will not intervene in a long-running legal dispute in which the city has lost several efforts to dismiss a Worcester Mass.cop named David W. Rawlston who, while off-duty, pointed a loaded handgun at three teenagers. The cop didn’t see anything wrong with what he did and filed a lawsuit against the city saying the town defamed him and intentionally inflicted emotional distress on him. The suit seeks $2 million.
